    1. Blanco County was created and organized 12 Feb 1858 from Burnet, Comal, Gillespie, and Hays Counties.  The Courthouse and most, if not all, county records were destroyed by fire Aug 1876.
    2. Also in this home in 1880 was H.C. May a nephew age 24 born in Texas and Jeffrey A. May a nephew age 18 born in Texas.
    3. In 1870 there is a Leonard Farris, a carpenter age 34 born in Alabama also living with the family.
