Notes:
                   Louis Falkner fought in the Civil War 1861-1864.  Mustered out in
South Carolina due to rheumatism (chronic).  When he was 17 years old he was in
the German army and wanted to kill the prince.  He put $50 in his shirt, got on
a boat and never took shirt off.  He worked his way across on a ship.

Arrived from Bremen, Germany on the "Dorette" in New York on April 17, 1858.
