Philip died with his wife in an automobile accident at the age of 87 and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Eaton Rapids, MI. He was retired from Atlas Drop Forge in Lansing, MI. He and his wife, Olean, lived most of their lives in Eaton Rapids, moving after his retirement to Zephyrhills, FL.
His wife died the night of the accident, Aug. 17 and he died on Tuesday Aug. 20.
Phillip retired in the mid 70's and liked to play bridge.
A 32 year old man, Richard Teel of Eaton Rapids is charged with manslaugher in connection with this traffic accident- he was drunk. Faces up to 15 years in prision.
