Laird of the Kincaid Clan
Name: Kincaid/Kinkead Born in the Cean Ceade (Kincaid) Castle near Campsie Glen in Stirlingshire, Scotland, the second living son of James, Laird of the Cean Ceade (Kincaid) Clan. David was forced to leave Scotland after his participationin the Jacobite Rebellion in 1715. He and his son, David, Jr., settled first in Spotsylvania County, PA, and later in Virginia. He was a member of Tinkling Springs (VA) Presbyterian Congregation from 1743 to about 1770.
He married Marion Boyd Abt 1674 at of Campsie, Stirling, Scotland . Marion Boyd was born at of Campsie, Stirling, Scotland Abt 1654 .
