                   Annes Rose married Absalom Holt 17 Jan 1797 in Person Co NC  and sealed 8 Feb
1977 SL.. They lived on Haw River and later moved west
                  

                   Duncan Rose married Sally McAden 22 Aug 1799 in Caswell Co NC.. He is buried
at Lea's Chapel in Person Co NC.. Duncan Rose died by falling out of the barn
loft .. Sally his wife is buried in cemetery of the First Presbyterian in
Greensboro NC.. She died 1 Feburary 1864.. See page 25,26 27 and 28 in book ,
Alexander Rose of Person Co NC.. She is the daughter of Hugh McAden and
Catherine Scott...Duncan and Sarah(Sally) had nine Children..
                  

                   Frances Rose was also called Franky.. She married Robertus Carney 2 June
1812 in Person Co NC.. Robertus Carney died shortly before September 1821 in
Person Co NC.  The two children went to Arkansas some account says..
                  

                   Neill Buchanan Rose married Mary(Polly) Rainey 8 May 1807.  They settled in
Huntsville Ala.. He married second time to Mrs Martha T Moody 21 Jan 1831 in
Huntsville Ala, she was the daughter of Mrs Nancy Mitchell ,,, see Alexander

                   Alexaner Rose married Mary (Polly) Vanhook 3 April 1805 in Caswell Co NC..
Sealed 10 Feb 1949 SL   Alexander Rose died in Dickson Co Tenn.. See more of

                   Eunice Rose married second time to John Long 16 Oct 1812. She died in Wythe
Co Va 23 September 1858 by drowning.. died near Graham Forge.. see Rose book

Person Co NC..
                  

                   Elizabeth Poythress Rose first married Mr Smith and lived at Bailey Station
Tenn.. and she remarried Captain Isham Parr . also they lived at Bailey Station

                   Beverly Rose married Ann Robinson Terry 9 Aug 1817 in Cumberland Co NC..
She is the daughter of Rev. Wiliam Terry an d Sarah Childs Leak .. Ann , his
wife was born 17 April 1801 and died 4 July 1858 in Cumberland Co NC. and
buried also at Cross Creek cemetery in Fayetteville, NC..   see page 34 and 35
in book,,Alexander Rose of Person Co NC..at Gunn library in Yanceyville NC..
Note:  Beverly Rose was the youngest son of Alexander Rose of Person Co NC.
Memorir thoughts of Beverly Rose on his 88th birthday written at the request
of his son Walter L Rose.... I was born in Person county , North Carolina,
near the place called Lea's Bridge over the creek called Hyco,August 9th 1794.
What shall I say to you my children in close of my 88th year is this.  My
father was a native of Scotlan, born in that Country, in the city of Inverness.
The name of my Mother was Eunice Lea, her fatherand mother were both natives
of England, they came over from England to this Country and settled on the
Mattamani River above Yorktown, Va. from thence my father, William Lea removed
from Va to North Carolina, and settled in Person county, about three miles
North of Leasburg in Caswell County, and near the Church now called "Lea's
Chapel", in Person county.  My father came from Scotland,when a young man to
this country and stopped in Petersburg, Va and was employed as a merchant in
that place selling goods.  From Petersburg he removed into North Carolina,
and settled in Person county, not far from where my Grandfather and mother
lived at that peroid.  My father became acquainted and they were married..
