has him as died 4 Janurary 1869 in Des Moines , Polk Co, Iowa.. buried in
the Woodland cemetery in Des Moines..   1850 census of Polk Co ,  Hannah
his wife age 36 , born in Vermont.  died in 1901 ( from Eary Settlers book
in FHC in Salt Lake..   There chidren born in Indiana.  The 1840 census of
Boone Co, Indiana has Thompson listed and 1 child .   1880 census of Polk
Co , Anna Bird age 67 , at home and living in 3rd Ward born in Vermont.
1870 census of Polk Co, 3rd Ward, William K Bird age 29 and Wife age 27
and born in Ohio.. There is a Ann Thompson living in the Household of
Thompson Bird age 50 and born in New York.   Thompson moved to Des Moines,
Polk Co in 1847.  The marriage date of Thompson Bird was estimated from the
date of birth of his first child..  and place is known where he first lived
and that was in Boone Co Indiana( see 1840 census of Boone Co Indiana).
