From the Christian Family Chronicles we find that William Christian b.1749, took his family in 1830 and moved from Montgomery County, Virginia to Ross County, Ohio.

                       Source: Margaret Christian, wife of Robert Christian is a first cousin to her husband.  They married on 23 Feb 1790 in Augusta Co. Va.  Data from abstract of the marriage register of Reverand Archibald Scott.

    Birth: Margaret Christian's birth is estimated by Agnes Pearlman (a genealogist whose address is 2001 N. Westwood Ave., Santa Ana, Cal. 92706) to be between 1754 and 1783.

    Birth, abt 1769 and the place they give is OF, RICHMOND, VA.

    Additional info found later (1991) in Christian Family Chronicles, Jan 1981, Vol. 5, pp 366, concerning the Birthdate of John Christian, which is the basis for changing from the previous estimated date to- (bef 1718) date, a significant time point for estimation of birthdates.

    This Robert Christian (Bn. 1764) has no children listed but due to evidence from U.S. Census records of 1850, 1860, 1880 and Mrs. Catherine Hesler of 8505 Woodfield Crossing Blvd.,Indianapolis, Ind., 46240, (see Christian file held by Glenn H. Thomas) it appears that this Robert Christian must have had children; one of which has to be another Robert Christian (what else?) born 1814, and this one married Mary Gilkerson. The data is very circumstantial but quite compelling so if you are curious get the records of Glenn H. Thomas on the Christian family.

Since the birth and death dates were the same (the same range was given in each) FHD did not clear End or Bapt ord as they said the individual appeared to have died before age 8.  Only sealing is cleared.
