Have suspicions that IGI may not be right as other data from the STICKNEY line (see notes in Thomas folder) states that a Nathaniel Pendleton Thomas b. abt 1800 (our Nathan b 1809) and died 17 Oct 1847, (our Nathan died 13 Sep 1847). He married a Betsey Stickney 17 Oct 1837. Nathan Pendleton Thomas is from Ornville, Betsey Stickney from Brownsville, both towns in Piscataquis county, Me., significantly in the proper area.
