The foregoing source paragraph represents the work of Michel L. Call who published this info as a redocumentation (1983) of the Archive record, based upon the latest available scholarly genealogical literature. A copy of this work is presently (1990) in the possession of Glenn H. Thomas. Historical Note by Michel L. Call: George Soule came on the Mayflower in 1620 as servant of Edward Winslow. His wife Mary came to Plymouth in 1623 on the Anne. The parentage of both George and Mary is presently (1983) unknown, although claims have been made. Banks suggested that George was likely from Eckington, Worcs., England. The Sanford Porter Family published a chart claiming George Soule (1597) as a son of Robert Soule (a wealthy London Salter, who died in 1590) and Elizabeth Tylson, md 2 June 1589, of Linc., Eng.
