NOTE: Randolph served in the Virginia Military during the War of 1812. He enlisted at age 21 in Captain William Pepper's Company 4th Regiment of the militia, was promoted Corporal and discharged after serving 146 days. He received a bounty land of 60 acres and a land warrant for 60 acres, which he disposed of. Later he received a pension (Cert #16108) of $8.00 per month.
NOTE: Milton was living with George Goob Saunders in 1860. His occupation was selling goods. He was on the roster of the 17th regiment of the 12th Brigate, 1st Division Virginia Volunteers, Bedford Company Lemuel Kennett, Captain. Milton was secont sergeant Company D 2nd Virginia Cavalry.
NOTE: Martha Saunders dower in the estate of George "Goob" Saunders deceased were tracts of 14 3/4 acres at the junction of Greers Ford Road and Shallow Ford Road and 298 3/4 acres on Greers Ford Road.
He married Martha P. Jones 19 Dec 1816 at Franklin, Virginia . Martha P. Jones was born at of Virginia 1800 .
