NOTES: September 2013 - This info found in "Red River Settlers"  Mantlo
    Little is known of the Mantlo family before they arrived in Robertson County, Tennessee.  The name is so similar to that of the Croatoan Indian, Manteo, that it is only natural to wonder if the Mantlo family traces through Indian blood.
    In 1933, there was an old Bible in Springfield, Tennessee, in the possession of a descendant, which contained the following entries:   (I will list only the info that pertains to the person on each PAF file)
    "Rebecca Mantlo, born 1772 married Moses Roe in 1792.  Both lived in  Louisa County, Virginia. She died 10 Jun 1825."
