                   NOTES: George McNiece Hightower and Rachel Eliza Carsley were sealed 30 Sept. 1981, in the Arizona temple (by Jerri and Warner Fisher).
George and Rachel were not md., (considered common law marriage) the children are blood line of Hightower but known as Harris all their lives.

    excerp:  George McNiece Hightower ("Pash") who came in and told his wife in February 1904: "I tried to hang myself, but the rope hurt my neck."  The next day, he successfully hanged himself with a chain.  It is believed he was depressed more than usual because his brother, Tobias had died in January 1904.

Edwards Cemetery - This Edwards Cemetery is also known as the Sullivan Cemetery and some call it the Sullivan-
Edwards Cemetery. The cemetery is about 4 miles outside of Clifty, Kentucky on Hwy. 107, turn left on to a
gravel road, go over a creek bed and the cemetery is located 50 the 75 feet on the right in a small group and
bunch of trees. This cemetery is badly over-grown.
In the Glenwood Cemetery Section F there is a Hazel D Hightower Apr 5, 1891 - Nov 30, 1976 Dau. of Annie
Edwards and Tobias Hightower.
