                   NOTE:
    The records said that Owen, the eldest son was 7 in 1595, being under age at the death of his father. The Queen on 16 Oct 1595 granted his marriage and wardship to Hugh Lewis gent., but Owen declined the alhanes and entered upon his property some land in Nevern whereupon Hugh Lewis in 1612 brought action against him to recover 200 pounds in damages. Hugh Lewis had proposed to marry Owen (his ward) to Elizabeth Symins.
