Levi PENNINGTON
New.FamilySearch.org, Apr 2011
NOTE: This information was given to me from Levi and Anna. We took a trip to Wayne County IL where they were able to show me many cemeteries and places where our people were buried and living. I saw the log cabin church where Mary Jane Sessions King joined the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints in Wayne County,IL. It was a log cabin about the size 12x14ft in Brush Creek twsp. My heart was full of great love for these our people and I had a great desire to find thier records and prepare them for temple work I have been able to do so with the help of my grandparents and much searching and Prayer, and much help from the LORD. I leave this record to that decendent of mine who will carry on this work as I have done, not talking about it but DOING as there is much to do yet and I can never get it complete before I go.
She is listed as "Catherine" on church records because she hated the name "Katie Mae", but she is listed as mother on Kathleen's birth certificate as "Katie Mae".
