NOTES: 
    1. Solomon Bartlett, born 1739, was united in marriage in Caroline Co., MD, in 1775, to Miss Mary Victor. They immigrated to VA thence to TN and later located in Green County, KY.  Rachel Victor, an Aunt of Mary, married Jonathan Maren, or Marine. He was born in 1700, died 4 Jan 1756. Their son Jonathan IV was a noted Quaker preacher & headed the Quaker Colony in NC and founded New Garden, now Guilford, Court House. He later moved to OH where he founded other colonies. Jonathan Maren was the youngest son of Jonathan & Kezia Maren, of Delaware where he was born in 1665, died in Dorchester Co., MD in May 1736. They were Fox Quakers.
