Soc., Lincoln, NE. I didn't copy all of it; I wish I had. NOTES: Christopher & Leah of PA (of German parentage); (moved to Shelby Co., KY , in 1819. He later moved to Daviess Co., KY in Sep 1841. He requested son, William, to stay with him until he dies. His Estate was divided among the heirs. His Estate was divided among the heirs-Homestead given to William. TITLE: Capt. William H. Karn (Child #1) NOTES: Child #1 was a faithful man to his country-never flinched from duty in the hours of peril. Lived his whole life and even died in place where he was born. Shot by a gun during War. A ball wounded him by lodging under his left shoulder blade. It was never removed. He always had poor health because of it. He was raised to manhood in Daviess Co., KY.
