NOTES:    1. Edwin Heber Dugard Crowther married 2nd wife-- Ellen
               Georgia Hefferan (no date shown).
            2. George Crowther and Sarah Dugard Crowther were blessed
               in a Patriarchal Blessing on 28 Jan 1846 at Navoo by
               Patriarch John Smith.
            3. George was a very wealthy man. He was a seventy in earlier
               years, but no one knows what happened to him; he was never
               excommunicated. His wife left hims and took their son to Utah.
            4. The daughter stayed with her father.  He begged her to stay
               with him. She ran away and joined the pioneers headed to Utah
               After his family left him, George went to California.  At
               his death everything he had was willed to a housekeeper; he
               left nothing for his wife and children. His lines are at a
               dead end, the family tried but was unable to trace them.
            5. Eliza Crowther came across the plains when she was 16
               years old, around 1852. She walked all the way to the Salt
               Lake Valley. She left her father back East. He turned against
               the Church. Eliza came with 2 other girls and Orson Pratt,
               when he returned from his mission. These girls walked
               all the way - except when they came to a stream that was too
               deep to wade across, then they were carried over by wagon.
               Lizzie (one of the girls) married Wm. Rose, Charlotte
               (another girl) married Mr. Weathercott, and Eliza Crowther
               married Thomas Corless. Ten days after Eliza and Thomas were
               were married, Thomas went on a mission among the Indian's.
               Their son Thomas was born while his father was on a mission.
