    1. William Bidwell moved to New York about 1816, and then he moved to Lake County, OH abt 1820.
    2. He joined the 8th Connecticut Regiment  in 1782 - His regiment protected Boston Camps and took part at Roxbury, also appointed as a guardian or a minor Sarah Whaples on 10 January 1799 from Farmington Town records Vol.#5 (page 89)
    3.  He and his wife Mary are both buried at the Middle Ridge Cemetery near Madison , Lake County, OH

His family lived at East Hartford until about 1800, and moved first to Bristol, NY, as he is mentioned in the town records of Hartford, Vol.#24 from 1802-1805 as of Bristol, Scholarie, NY.  The settled at Batavia, Genessee County, NY as early as 1806.  They also lived at Sherburne, Chenango, Ny and at Gaines, Orleans County, NY
