NOTES:    1. Became a widower - Brier Hill Precinct -had neighbor _Col.
               Preston. They traded deeds- he moved to Kentucky 1784.
            2. Owned Kentucky Land - owned a nice farm.  He became owner
               of 3,000 ares of land - lying around Bryant's Station - in
               Fayette County, Kentucky - In 1782, he sent his younger
               brother Barnett - with a lot of slaves and other property -
               to take possession of it.  He was a prepare for the family
               to come later. He helped defent Bryant's Staion against
               Indian attack.  soon he was killed at the Battle of Blue
               Ficks.  They crossed Mountians in wagons and then floated
               down the Ohio River in "Flatboats.
