Hatch, George Kennedy Ward clerk 3. County Commissioner for two terms, Elected to State Legislature. - a Stock holder in Utah and Wyoming, Independant Telephone Company. President of Bank of Randolph. 4. Compare page 274 (Rich memories - DUP) on John Kennedy Jr. and page 279 on William Henry Simpson. 5. John Kennedy Jr. Married Hannah Simpson in the Endowment House in Salt Lake City, Utah. The mother passed away in 1902, leaving a family of 15 children --(his mother? Five years later John Kennedy married Annie Simpson -(could she be Hannah - nichname Annie?) 6. The Simpsons (page 279) say Annie Larimer married William Henry Simpson and had 7 children- He died in 1905 - she later married her brother-in-law John Kennedy Jr.

NOTE: 1. This couple, Matt and Dot, as they were called, purchased the farm that was homesteaded by Joseph and Mary (Kennedy) Bailey - `which is now owned by Ben Weston and Son's'. They worked hard to make the land produce. Matt would go away and work in the winter, and Dot would take care of the farm & family. At Harvest time he would go into the field and pitch on a load of hay, bring back to the corral, and she would go out and stock it for him as he pitched it off. She also helped with the grain. 2. Matt was a School Board Member, Road Supervisor, and a Justice of the Peace. He died at the early age of 44.
NOTES: 1 Annie Thomas (Kennedy) Corless - Made burial clothes and helped to lay out and take care of may peop who died. 2. She came from Scotland with her parents at the age of 3 years.
