   1. Came to KY in 1780's - Blue Lick Springs, Mason Co., KY 1st Census
   2. James Sr. in 1804 purchased his lands from John Drake (Nicholas Co., KY). After William Bartlett died, Phoebe sold property ot Ebenezer Bartlett (attorney to Bartlett heirs). 22 Jul 1829, James Jr. and wife, Marcy, purchased the land from Ebenezer. In 1849, James Jr. and 3rd wife, Matilda, sold most of the land.
