NOTES:   1. Marion Buchanan - Spent his youth with his mother's relatives, the
              Hildreths and the Standifords.  In 1860 he lived in the home of JohnStandiford
              Jr.  and his wife Hannah, where he was employed (farm work) - next door lived
              John Standiford Sr. and Ann Hildreth was his housekeeper ( she was Marion's
              maiden aunt)
          2. Marion Buchanan - moved to Bourbon County, Kentucky prior to 1890 - where
              he farmed on the `Garth' farm and on the old Kennedy farm on the Winchester  Rd.
              He worked at the Paris Distilling Company at the time of his death (information  -

              and Allie June Hughes Roe - Rt.#4 - Maysville, Kentucky 41056
          3. Marion Buchanan - was in the Civil War as a Private in Union Army Company C.
