Andrew Cornwall served in the Revolutionary  as a Private in the Connecticut Militia - During the War he was stationed at Peckskill, New York 7 April to 19 May 1777, also served, according to family tradition, at the Battle of Bennington and the Battle of Saratoga, some of their children were born in Chatham, CT.
