    1. Captain "Squire" Israel Bartlett. farmer, lawyer,Tanner, a magistrate (Known as "Squire" Bartlett. lived 1738-1746 in Nottingham, New Hampshire, MA, lived most of his life in Newbury, he died there at age 42.
    2. Tanning was a family trade, he had a pew in Queen Anne's Chapel, he had two black slaves on record, one man and a girl.
    3. Wife Love Hall, is a descendant of Governor John Winthrop and Governor Thomas Dudley.
