    1. William Calvin Bartlett farmed large acreage, was also in Confederate Army - received a wounded leg taken prisoner p sent to Blackwell Island - suffered from smallpox
    2. William Calvin Bartlett is buried at the Fellowship Baptist Church Yard = at "Old Buttston," near Dudleyville, Alabama. his wife is buried there also.
    3. Wife Rachel Amanda Henderson Bartlett - her parents died when she was quite young. She had 10 sisters.  A married sister carried her and her brother Alvin to Alabama to live.

NOTES:
    1. William Lumpkin Bartlett - For four years he continued to farm on his Father's Plantation - then he moved to Atlanta, Florida in 1888.  In Atlanta, Georgia moved there in fall of 1888. There he operated a market Farden, later adding a dairy farm and wholesale distributing plant.  For the last few years of his life he became a clerk in the Altanta Post Office.  He died of Typhoid Fever at age of 49 years.
