NOTES: In a will of John Crane's brother, Henry Bartlett, JR. his brother said
"I lend unto my brother, John Crane bartlett, my 3 negroes, viz: Jenny, Gabriel
and Delphenny, during my father and mother's life. After father and mother die,
all to be divided with brothes and sisters, even negro-all increase."
