    2. Aaron Bartlett - 5 May 1780 is when he was in the Army for 6 months, arrived Springfield, MA 12 July 1780 and marched to Camp.  Discharged the 17 November near West Point , New York
    3. After the close of the War Aaron bought a farm in Leverett, then moved to Amherst and then to Pelham, Massachusetts
    4. Discrepancy on birth date 30 March 1752 or 21 April 1753?
    5. Wife Joanna (Perkins) Bartlett - Widow in 1840 - age 84 - file #16830, Cer.#3162 - albany, NY application made for pension 20 April 1818 and received a pension for husbands service in the Revoltionary War.
    6. Discrepancy on wife's birth year 1755 or 1756?
    7. Joanna Perkins Bartlett died 17 January 1844 at the afe of 88 Years.
    8. Joanna's Sister Lydia Peck - (age 74 - in 1837) testified to Aaron and Joanna's Marriage
    9.  Daughter Nancy Bartlett simpson testified  - 21 December 1839.
    10. Son Banjmin Bartlett - moved to Iowa in 1839 at age 62.
    11. son Solomon Bartlett twin to Ransom Bartlett - died at the age of 15 months.

    1. Aaron Bartlett - Shoemaker  - Was the first Postmaster of Cherry Cheek, NY - Pioneer type and seldom remained long in one place.  He was a very jovial character original and in some wys eccentive.  He never wore a coat if he could avoid - On his 94 birthday he danced on the Court House Steps in Warren , PA (the last was told by hs grand-daughter Mrs. Lottie s. Costello)
    2. 1850 Census - Aaron Bartlett - age 69; wife Charlotte - age 65
    3. Aaron Bartlett died at the age of 94 years in the home of son Russell Bartlett.
    4. Charlotte Webber Bartlett died atthe home of her son Ransom Bartlett.
