NOTES:
    1. 1850 Census - James W. Ford - Age 7.
    2. James W. Ford , at age 14 went to Missouri to live with his Sister and ehtn he and four other boys - worked there to Pike's Peak in 1859.  After living in Missouri and Pike's Peak he returned to Kentucky - landed in Hartford after abscence of 4 years.  Attended school until 1861 - enlisted in Kentucky infantry ( Confederate service and served four years - was a Private, Sergenat and Lieutenant.  Then he left Military and went into drug Business in Hartford, He had a good business there.
    3.  1910 Census - James W. Ford - age 68 - married 37 years; (wife) Miss Abbir R. Rowan - age 65 - had 1 living child - Methodist; (daughter) Jessie Ford - 35 - married 15 years.

NOTES:
    Lived with sister and then he and four other boys - worked their to Pikes Peak in 1859. After living in Missouri and Pike's Peak, he returned to KY - landed in Hartford after abscence of four yrs. Attended school until 1861 - Enlisted in KY infantry (Confederated Service) and served four yrs. was private, Sgt & Lieut. Then he left military and went into drug business in Hartford. Had a good business there. Occupation - Miller in Roller mill - lived on Union St. Hartford, KY.
