    BEVIER-PECK NUPTIALS
An impressive wedding ceremony occurred at high noon, Sunday, June 21, when
Mrs. Sylvia Peck and Harry L. Bevier were united in marriage at the home of the
groom. To the strains of the wedding marge played by Miss Esther Haines, niece
of the bride, the bridal party, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Roy Parker, sister
of the bride, took their place under a canopy of roses and ferns where the
beautiful ring ceremony was read by Rev. C. W. Donaldson in the presence of 38
invited guests. A delicious buffet luncheon was enjoyed by the following: The
bride and groom, Miss Laura Bevier, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bevier of Toledo; Mrs.
Barbara Ricketts, mother of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Parker of Edon; Mr. and
Mrs. Emerson Haines, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Ricketts and daughters Lorene, Barbara
Lee and Laura Belle and son Ted, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Best and daughters Joan
and Marjorie and son James, Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Flickinger, Mr. and Mrs. Gaython
