    HAINES-ELIAS NUPTIALS

    Katherine, daughter of George and Katherine Elias, was united in marriage to
    Clarence Haines, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Haines, Wednesday, February 6, at
    7 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Lansing, Michigan.

    After the ceremony they came to the home of his parents. After a wedding
    breakfast Thursday morning they left for Fontana, California, where Clarence
    had been transferred from Alma, Mich. by Swift & Co. to take care of a duck
    plant.

    The bride is a graduate of Alma, Michigan High School; the groom a graduate of
    Montpelier High School with the class of 1929; from Ohio State University in
    1933. Since then he has been employed by Swift & Co. in a hatchery plant at
    Alma, Michigan.
