                       Founder of the Gibbs Family in Ct, Giles Gibbs, who with his brothers,
    Francis and Joseph, came from Devonshire, England.  It is believed that
    Giles settled in Dorchester in 1633.  He died in Windsor, Ct. in May 1741.
