                   RESEARCH NOTES;
     Nothing was found to disprove the family group sheet authored by Mrs. Kuespert, or the submission to the Ancestral World Tree, by Colleen Osborn-Myhre, which extended the ancestral Sawyer lineage to England.  It is believed that the lineage of Elizabeth Sawyer (4:5) was through the immigrants who had been captured by Indians and were able to purchase their freedom by building a mill in what is now known as French Canada.
