In his will of Will Book B, page 80, Montgomery County, VA he opens by saying I, Adam Wagonner (2 n's 1 g?) being, through the abundant mercy and goodness of God, tho weak in body yet of sound memory and perfect understanding, do constitute this my Lastr will and testament in manner following (vig) first I bequeath my soul to Almighty God my maker beseeching his most gracious acceptance of it, my bod to the earth to be buried decently at hte discretion of my Executors herafter named.  (An apparently religious man)
