John Arthur BAGBY
this connection (JOhn Bagby and Theodosia Morris ) as father of mildred Bagby is found in several gedcoms. However, it is unlikely, as Mildred Bagby was bron in 1725 and the other reported children of this union were bron in 1750-1766. There is also a descripacny with the birht datge given for John Arthur Bagby in thte internet gedcoms (ca 1700) and the fact that he served in the Revoltuionary war as a Captain in 1777. His Dar birht year is given as ca 1730, which would be consistent tieh his military serice but not with his being father of Mildred Bagby. It is possible that this John A. Bagby was the brother of Mildred Bagby rather than her father.
1st cousin to william bagby b. 1750 (william's father was Robert Bagby(b. 1723) and John Bagby was Robert Bagby's brother who had this Richard Bagby as a son)?As I understand it, then Richard was JOhn's son : John was a brother to Robert and William was Robert's son (Just like Bryan is a 1st cousin to Larry was is my son and Bryan is my brother Rick/s son.)
