John CHAPMAN & William SPENCER, Jr.An agreement, appended to the Inventory on file:To all whom these presents concern, greeting: Know ye that we, John SPENCER & Isaac SPENCER, do by these presents jointly & severally promise & engage to our honoured mother-in-law, Miriam SPENCER, to pay her twelve pounds in current country pay, to be paid at £3 per year, annually, at or before the first of September yearly.
