                   NOTE:  In 1862 the guardianship of William Thomas Myrick (the youngest son of Septimus W. Myrick) was given to his oldest brother, Mathew H. Myrick.  Mathew died in 1864 and the guardianship of William Thomas was then given to Charles H. Varner and Thomas S. Cummings, husbands of Martha and Mary Myrick.
