Cedar Creek Monthly Meetin of Women 9th mo 3d day 1864: 'The preparative meeting informs that Elisabeth Haines, formerly Wilson, has accomplished her marraige contrary to discipline; whereupon her right ceaceth (sic) in the society of friends. Matilda Crosbie is appointed to write to her and to furnish her with a copy of this minute and report next meeting'. No proof of this child. "Died in infancy of scurvy". May have been born in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Family story that this child or, more likely, John Vincent, may have been killed in some explosion (even a 4 July accident).

Jesse Henderson, step-son, born Jun 1894 in Idaho, age 5 The 1910 Census shows Jesse McKinley Haines as son. Married 22 May 1916 in Grace, Idaho to Vivian Elizabeth Haines by Bishop Moroni W. Lowe. BIRTH: several conflicting notations. 22 May 1876 from our 'family' records as reported by VEH. 22 May 1873 from 1900 census with Permelia and Jess 22 May 1875 by deduction from 1880 census - reported as age 5. This brings into question his place of birth - Ophir or Corinne - since EWH was in Corinne in May 1875 (signed a probate receipt on Paton Wilson)
