    Sep 1873 (from Wm M. Martin book P #386 - quarter interest in Silver
    Moon Mine in East Canyon Ophir MIning District for $500) and from Edwin
    Haines18 Nov 1874 to John Tate (book T #61- a 300 foot mining claim
    for $50). Other records for Alfred S Lineback, A. E Haynes (of SLC10 Sep
    1871), John Haines Jr and Sr, Hiram S. Haines, Martindale). Many entries
    for A S Lineback (and one including GuliElma) for 1871 through 1888 and
    a civil action 2 Mar 1897 vs Ophir Hill M & O Co; Gulielma is Elizabeth
    Wilson Haines' sister.

    Life: 1 Sep 1864: Womens Minutes, Cedar Creek Preparatory Meeting 9th
    mo 1st day 1864  'The overseers informed that Elizabeth Haines,
    formerly Wilson, had accomplished her marraige contrary to our rules
    which the clerk is directed to forward to the monthly meeting'.
    Cedar Creek Monthly Meetin of Women 9th mo 3d day 1864: 'The
    preparative meeting informs that Elisabeth Haines, formerly Wilson, has
    accomplished her marraige contrary to discipline; whereupon her right
    ceaceth (sic) in the society of friends.  Matilda Crosbie is appointed to
    write to her and to furnish her with a copy of this minute and report next
    meeting'. (10th mo 8th day 'not attended to; report when completed') 11
    month 12 day 1864 "the friend appointed to furnish Elisabeth Haines
    with a copy of this meetings minute in her case reports it was attended
    to".

    Found in 1880 Utah Census in Corinne (West District), Malad Precinct,
    Box Elder Co Vol 1 Enumerator 6 sheet 2 line 30 as 'charwoman' and
    'divorced'. A problem with children's birth years and sequence derives
    from this census: Pearl as 13, Julian 12, Nellie 11, John 9, Albert

    Obituary in Salt Lake Tribune, 24 Apr 1947, page 15, and Deseret News:
    Pearl Paton Haines, 84, Twin Falls, died Monday night in the home of his
    sister, Mrs Kittie Craig, 745 10th E, of ailments incident to age...a
    visitor...was born in 1963 in Mt Pleasant IA and came to Utah in 1871.  He
    served as postmaster at Thousand Springs, ID for many years and later
    owned and operated a butcher shop in Pocatello, ID..he had lived in
    Jackson, WY and NV. Survivors Leslie V Thomason, Ferndale, WN, sister
    Kittie and brother AE. A second son, Raymond, was killed in WWII A

    several conflicting notations. 22 May 1876 from our 'family' records as reported by VEH. 22 May 1873 from 1900 census with Permelia and Jess 22 May 1875 by deduction from 1880 census - reported as age 5.  This brings into question his place of birth - Ophir or Corinne - since EWH was in Corinne in May 1875 (signed a probate receipt on Paton Wilson)
