Hardy BOUNDS

                       SOURCE The birth, marriage & death records were received from Damon Bounds, a
    nephew of Lona Maud Bounds.  Her death & burial date and place are taken from
    her death certificate, which is in the hands of Eldra Lucile Hooper Bounds.
                  

                       SOURCE  , the informastion on James Bounds was taken from the book, "The
    Boundless Bounds" by Ruth T. Dryden.  Information was also given by a grandson
    of Hardy Bounds and his second wife Bertha Wallace.  Damon Bounds, is the
    grand-son of Hardy and Bertha Wallace Bounds, and he gave the corrected
    information on the death of Jimmie Otis Bounds.  Jimmie was sickly as a child,
    and died of typhoid fever.
                  

                       SOURCE R. D. was left to play at the end of a field while others of the family
    were picking cotton.  He was bitten numerous times by a large rattle snake.
    His father Hardy Bounds, lanced and suctioned the bites.  He was loaded on a
    wagon and taken to a doctor in Lamesa where he died around 10 P.M., the same
    day.  He was buried nest morning at 28 months oof age.
                  

                       SOURCE   JW, as he was known, never married. He was paralyzed in an auto
    accident in Dec. 1947.  He remained bound in a wheelchair the remainder of his
    life.
