    Names and dates from 1860 and 1870 Newton Co. Ark. census.
    William Alfred's name was found in the Preuett Family Bible.
    William is listed in 1830 in Grainger Co., Tennessee.  He was listed as under
    30; his wife 30-40; three sons under 5; 1 son 5-10; 1 daughter 5-10; 1 daughter
    under 15.  Records showed he was 33 at this time so he had six children.  His
    son Peter was born 10 years later so he evidently had a large family.  This
    means that the William Alfred in Tennessee (Wilson Co.?) could be a son born ca
    1820.  In 1840 William was 30-40, his wife 20-30 (a new one?) a son 1-5 and a
    daughter 1-5.  What happened to his first family

    and possibly a granddaughter living with her during the 1870 census.  Elizabeth
    Asher (1863) Mo.
