"Grandpa, Jacob P. Hesson always told us and he showed me when I was about 14
of an unsettled estate. It was in a book of unsettled estates and I believe
under John Mercer. It was on his wifes side. It was suppose to be New York
property and was the Mercer estate. The mercerized cotton thread. He said
his wife signed a paper once on a 99 year lease. This may give you something
to go on. If there was any money it would never reach us, but be interesting
if a person could find out something on it. I saw it in a book he had of
