    1982: "Dies sind die 8 Kinder des Ehepaares Claus Gotsch/Abel
    Koeler aus Krogaspe.  Nach Meiner ueberzeugund sind es `256/257,'
    weil 1. das Geburtsjahr von `128' naeher an das angegebene Jahr
    1679 liegt und 2., weil Gretje, Juergen and Maria als Paten bei
    Marxs Kindern sind.  Der andere Hans Gotsch hatte keine Kinder
    mit diesen Namen.  Hans Gotsch kann sehr gut ein Bruder von '256'
    sein.  Die trauung von Hans habe ich abgeschrieben.  Seine Sterbe-
    eintragung und die seiner Frau fand ich nicht nach 1736."
