                   A celebration was being held and a prize offered for the family with the most
children.  Bright Pruitt stood up with his 13 children all red headed, and won
the prize.
Bright was living on Morgan's Creek of Tyger River in Greenville Disct. S>C> as
early as 1787, and was recorded on the 1790 census of Greenville District.
In 1796, Bright moved to Fayette Co. Kentucky and purchased 600 acres of
military land, which he lost by reason of a defective title.  Afterwards he
entered 400 acres in what is now oldham co. Kentucky., where he built and
operated a distillery until 1830.
Bright moved to Gregg twp, Morgan Co. Indiana in 1830 and remained there until
his death on 13 Feb 1836.  Elizabeth died in Morgan , Indiana on 25 Feb 1870
Annister died in a fall from a orse in Kentucky in 185.  Bright married Elizabeth Crum in Jefferson, Kentucky

Bright Pruitt was born at Terrible Creek, Halifax, Virginia 9 Jun 1770. His parents were Michael Pruitt and Elizabeth Bright.

He married Elizabeth Mrs Crum 30 Aug 1815 at Jefferson, Kentucky . Elizabeth Mrs Crum was born at of Kentucky Abt 1785 .

Bright Pruitt died 13 Feb 1836 at Morgan, Indiana .
