    There are still discrepancies in this record that have not been solved. Several birth dates are given for Peter Browne: 1582, 1586, or "before 1600." His death is recorded as 4 October 1633, but could have been anytime between 25 March 1633, when he was taxed, and 28 Oct. 1633, the date of the inventory after his death.

NOTES:
    The following children listed for Peter Browne in the Ancestral File and Ordinance Index are in error: Martha (abt 1630), John (abt 1632), Peter (abt 1635), Isabelle(9 June 1636). The "Alphabetical List of Passengers on the Mayflower: and "Peter Brown of the Mayflower" both state that Peter had only two children by each wife. These children have been deleted from the family group record.
