                   NOTES  According to an IGI entry, John Shaw married Elizabeth Charles on 5 September 1803 at St. Nicholas Gloucester (City), Gloucester (County), England.  The actual marriage record stated that John Shaw of the Parish of St. Michael (in Gloucester City) married Elizabeth Charles of this parish (St. Nicholas in Gloucester City) on 5 September 1803.  They left their mark.  This marriage by banns, was sitnessed by John Jennings an Charles Wheeler, who were probably not relatives.
