Thomas Potts went from Pennslyvania with John A. Bone Sr in 1749 and served as Justice of Peace in AAnson County from 1753 to 1774 the year he was believed to have died. Source: History of the Bone Family, p118-215 In 1753 Thomas Potts was named a Justice of the Peace in Anson County and held the position until 1774 when he died.
