                   Sion Elias BULLARD states that Benjamin BULLARD was a white man. Sion states that in 1832 his parents and grandparents and their families moved from NC to Warren/DeKalb counties TN, where they lived among the Indians. In 1853 Sion moved to TX. In 1896 he moved to the Indian Territory.

                   Senith Barnes' given name may be a contraction of Asenath -- a name found in the family of Abram Barnes of Robeson County. Abram was born in 1730. He died before 1 Jan 1794 in Robeson County.

                   Family legend states that Martha Ann was full-blooded Cherokee. She is said to have been unable to speak English, but able to read and write in Cherokee.

Burial possibly occurred in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Erath County (between Huckabee and Lingleville) in an unmarked grave.  There is a Bullard Cemetery near Reno, Parker, TX -- between Azle and Springtown.
