    The following is a word for word copy of the letter included
    with the
    research on Jons Ohlsson.
    JONS   OHLSSON (2:12)
    "Sven Jonsson's age at death, 62, would make him born around
    1733.  The
    only Sven born and christened to a Jons, in Torrlosa, was born 10
    January 1734.
    (Dco.#12) This record states:
    '1734, January, born 10 on a Thursday, Jons Ohls and Metta
    Svansdotters
    little son, Svan from Ostraby.  Christened 13 January, carried
    of Ohlu Mans
    Nils same place: wit: Svan Andersson Mans Andersson Pahar
    Pahrsson and
    widow Kirstina, deceased Bengta Asbiors.'
    "When the IGI was checked, there were entries for Jons Ohlsson
    and Metta
    Svensdotter having children in 1725 in Svalov. (Doc.#13) This was
    submitted in
    1990 by Rita Green in             Centerville, a 5 gg daughter with
    information
    from the Torrlosa                 church records.  When the
    chirstening record
    was found in the                  Svalov church record, the same
    witness was
    found, Kirstina,                  deceased Bengta Esbiors.
    Unfortunately, the
    marriage records are              missing for the time period needed
    in.
    Svalov.  The death and burial records of Torrlosa were searched to
    try and
    obtain an age for Jons and Metta." (ED: I don't know whether the
    blank spaces
    were in for a reason or if they were accidental but they were in the
    copy I
    received.)
    "Jons Ohlsson's wife, Matta or Metta died 4 March 1748 and was
    buried 20
    March, age 43, which would make her born around 1705.  An entry was
    found for
    Metta, daughter of Svan Pedersson, christened 1 January 1701.  The
    death and
    burial record was found for Jons Olsson, died 21 July 1789 and
    buried 25 July
    1789.  This would make him born around 1702.
