Notes:
DEATH: Perry L. Jordan was returning from Washington D.C. where he had registerd a patent an invention (Kerosene stove burner). He was "Waylaid" on the trainand beaten badly, around New Orleans, LA. He was taken to Catholic Hospital (Sisters of Mercy-maybe) and he died there (of pneumonia) and buried there. Another researcher from this line, Keith Jordan, said his uncle Oliver (Perry's grandson), who was a sailor in WWII, went there while stationed in New Orleans andfound Perry's grave while there. Hospital burned early 1900's and most recordswere lost. He visited the hospital to see the death certificate and found thegravesite in the old cemetery in New Orleans (7th-8th level). Oliver found records in basement of hospital. Perry was buried in 5th layer. (I have heard that it was the 5th, but another researcher stated that it was the 7th-8th level). Some large company like McCormick came out with the invention a few months later. A shoe box of personal things, shoes and a bloody shirt was shipped backto Charles' farm in Deming, NM.
