She remembers when she was a child that her Aunt Emma came to visit them out on the homestead near Faith,SD. She had a big boy with her and he ruffled Alice's hair and teased her. Aunt Alice isn't much of a talker but if you can get her started there are some great stories lurking in her head. For her age she has a terrific memory. Just needs a little prodding. She still does all her own cooking, works in her garden and has the most beautiful flowers you ever saw. I should be so healthy. Well I am now, but I'm not almost 100 yet either.> I found your Pierson Tree on rootsweb and put Emma's family in mine(most of it). Hope you don't mind. > Am attaching what I have on Shaffs so far. It's not very professional as I kept adding and subtracting and wrote it like a story because all I was going to do was send it to the cousins( offspring of Abbie Shaff Hansen's eleven Children).
