Miss Kilpatrick was one of Monroe county's successful school teachers and while teaching in Perry township last year caught a severe cold which developed into lung trouble. She never entirely recovered, although at times she would appear to be much better. She had been confined to her bed for the past three months, during most of which time her condition was very low, and death came as a welcome relief. Miss Kilpatrick was the second daughter of Thomas Kilpatrick, a well known farmer south of town. She was a young lady of noble christian character and loved and respected by all. She was a faithful member of the Reformed Presbyterian church. No arrangements.
